Bojack Horseman (2014-2020) Season 1 Episode 4: Zoes and Zeldas

Todd aspires to perform his original rock opera, which Bojack secretly sabotages in order to prevent him from moving out. Todd's performance flops on account of a Decapathon relapse, which he blames himself for, but it is later revealed to the audience that the entire ordeal had been orchestrated by Bojack all along. In episode 9 of season 1, Todd nearly discovers the reciept Bojack used to purchase Decapathon under Bojack's couch, but ends up finding a forgotten jury duty notice instead, building the tension until he figures it out at the end of the episode.

Breaking Bad (2008-2013) Season 4 Episode 4: Bullet Points

Walter has demonstrated throughout the series that he is an infamous meth manufacturer. He has committed many criminal acts, and several murders at this point in the series, but his family, including his brother-in-law DEA officer are completely unaware. This results in an especially tense scene between Walter and Hank in which Hank presents Walter with a folder of siezed evidence from a murder scene containing detailed information regarding the very meth lab Walter worked in. There is a note directed towards a 'W.W.' which is clearly meant to stand for Walter White, but Hank does not catch on to this and ponders for several moments as to who it may be referring to. The audience of course is quite aware that the culprit is Walter, but Hank refuses to come to this conclusion.
